14 DAY TRIAL // Because an empire like hers can’t be run without proper planning, Beyonce already has everything in place for the moment when she announces her divorce from Jay Z, which, according to Us Magazine (story via CB), will happen in a few weeks’ time.
The print issue of the magazine reports that Beyonce didn’t just hire divorce attorneys to discuss her options to end the marriage with the rapper / music mogul, she already has the divorce announcement ready to go out to press.
According to insiders close to the diva, she has a draft of the press release written down and ready to go out to the Associated Press the very instant she decides she wants out of the marriage. She’s still to come to this conclusion, though.
The weekly notes that, while Beyonce has learned there was an entire side to Jay Z she had no idea about, she is still not convinced that divorce is the best option. She’s torn between sticking by her man, even if he’s a cheater, and walking out on him, says a spy.
“Beyonce always ignored the cheating talk, but after the elevator fight, the floodgate of rumors opened. She doesn’t know what to do,” the tipster explains.
The elevator fight is shown in the video below: that’s Beyonce’s sister Solange putting a beatdown on Jay Z, while Beyonce looks on almost impassibly. Word online has it that Solange had found out about Jay’s cheating and she was confronting him for stepping out on his wife – her sister.
Us Magazine claims that infidelity is at the core of Bey and Jay’s most recent marriage troubles: she is “insecure” about his “wandering eye,” so insecure that she “systematically eliminated for view anyone she deems to be her husband’s type. She kept their circle tight to make sure no pretty girl could take his attention.”
Judging by her decision to contact divorce attorneys, it sounds like she’s not convinced that her strategy paid off.
“Beyonce’s escape plan: the week of the Met Gala, Beyonce started checking out new homes in Manhattan,” Us Weekly writes. “She’ll file for divorce in New York. Lawyers are already involved,” says another spy.
Granted, we’ve been hearing that Beyonce will file for divorce for 3 months now, and nothing has come out so far from all these rumors. If anything, the more of them surface online, the harder Beyonce strives to prove they’re wrong by posting happy family photos on social media.
We’ll know in September if there was ever any truth to them: most media outlets seem to concur that she will announce the separation after the final 2 dates in their joint On the Run Tour.
