The singer is currently in Paris, wrapping up her massive On the Run tour with husband Jay Z from whom she may or may not be divorcing, and to whom she may or may not be giving a new child.
During her latest performance in Paris, a little mishap caused Beyonce to skip a beat and miss out on some lyrics she was lip-synching at the time, when she dropped her microphone.
Ever the professional, Beyonce made it seem like she was bending towards some fans, in order to great them, but the drop is still obvious, as is the fact that the song carries on without her. The song in question was “Partition.”
Oddly enough, fans did not react to this strange occurrence and even the media has been rather laid back about the incident. It turns out that Beyonce does impose a lot of respect in the industry and she seems to have won people over enough that they tend to ignore such a slip-up.
Other live performers haven't been so lucky in the past, as they were all promptly blasted and publicly shamed for lip-synching. But Beyonce seems to have earned her right to lip-sync because no one so much as batted an eyelid. It may have something to do with the fact that Beyonce puts on quite a show and often gives her all on stage.
