14 DAY TRIAL // Regardless of rumors that Beyonce had banned Kim Kardashian from her circle of friends, the two were photographed together at a Jay-Z, Kanye West show over the weekend. Beyonce's fans are anything but thrilled by that.
As we also noted at the time, initial reports said that, the moment word got out that Kanye West was dating the reality star, Beyonce and Jay-Z, his good friends reacted somewhere along the lines “You'll never bring us along when we go out together!”
At the same time, word had it that Beyonce was Kim's girl crush and that she was dying to meet and hang out with her, since that would instantly turn her (Kim) into an A-lister by association with showbiz royalty.
The other day, at a Watch the Throne show, the two were photographed in the mosh pit, having fun together.
The moment the photos became available online, fans of the pop diva took to various online forums to complain that Beyonce's friendship with Kim was nothing short of a sign of the apocalypse, Radar Online informs.
As they see it, Bey is far too classy and sophisticated to spend time with someone as cheap and attention-hungry as Kim, and she only stands to lose by so doing.
“Kim Kardashian is not the sort of girlfriend that Beyonce fans envision the new mother having. Beyonce has an air of class and sophistication to her, while Kim is famous because of a tape and a failed marriage,” an insider is quoted as saying.
“Beyonce and Kim Kardashian in the same picture let alone the same sentence is tragic,” one fan wrote on Twitter, as cited by the aforementioned celebrity publication.
“if your role model is Kim Kardashian, I can't take you seriously, Beyonce is a way better role model. She's respectful of herself,” another added, clearly not loving the budding friendship between the two.
“Beyonce tries to stay out of the tabloids, while they're Kim's livelihood,” wrote another, stating the obvious.
However, Radar Online points out, whether fans like it or not, the bottom line remains that Kim and Beyonce will be spending even more time together, as their men's joint tour, Watch the Throne, progresses.
Whether Beyonce will actually lose fans for her association to the reality star, as some voices claim will happen, remains to be seen.
