mediatakeout.com has learned exclusively that Beyonce's latest album, the unfortunately named 'B' Day', will be pushed back from its initial release date on September 4th to an unspecified one. An insider at Sony BMG states that both the artist and her father/manager are desperately trying to change the date so that she has more time to work on some of the tracks.
'B' Day' has been nothing but trouble to the diva, as many fans and critics came down hard upon her two singles extracted from the album, 'Deja Vu' and 'Ring the Alarm'. Many fans might disagree that Beyonce's career is going downwards instead of up, but the fact still remains that her video for 'Deja Vu' was strongly criticized, as was the one for 'Ring the Alarm'.
It seems that even the talented performer is beginning to question the artistic value of her latest music endeavor, which is why she is seriously considering to postpone the release date, to rewrite and re-do some of the tracks.
The source told the website that Mathew 'has been relentlessly pressuring [Sony BMG] to postpone the release of the album for a couple of weeks now. It's only a matter of time before he gets his way'. And the source goes on to say that Beyonce's father might also be the one who 'leaked' the entire 'B' Day' album on the Internet less than two days ago.
It was hinted by the insider that some of the current tracks on the album will be completely taken out, while two brand new duets will be added: one with Latino sensation Shakira and another with teen idol Chris Brown.
