Beyonce - Best Dressed?

People magazine just named Beyounce Knowles as the best-dressed celebrity of the past year. Truth be told, this has managed to raise a few eyebrows, seeing how the beautiful R&B singer has graced many times the "hit and miss" and "fashion police" sections of magazines both on paper and electronic. A further "fashion disaster" or, to use the catch phrase of the day, wardrobe malfunction also made Beyonce's outfits seem slightly unreliable, and this happened at one of her concerts in Toronto, where her dress tore and she totally flashed her boobs at the cheering crowd.

However, Beyonce definitely has glitz and glamour, and this is why People dubbed her "The Showstopper". "Beyonce just looks amazing every time she goes out" assistant managing editor Cynthia Sanz declared for Reuters. "She likes to show off her curves and she is very glamorous".

Beyonce also owns her own fashion line called "House of Dereon" that she launched in 2004 with her mother, stylist Tina Knowles. The clothes she designs mix up several kinds of influences, among which hip hop and R&B, with feminine touches that use such fabrics as silk and ruffles.

If Beyonce is "The Showstopper", Cameron Diaz was dubbed "The Legs", and actress Tom Cruise's wife Katie Holmes was also in the Top 10 as "The Classic". However, Diaz managed to prove that you can be on the A and D lists all at once, because she was also in the top for "worst style moments". She managed to offend the people in Peru when she unwisely decided to sport a handbag that had a political slogan of Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong on it.

Even so, the "worst style moments" list was topped by none other than Britney herself, and the timing for this is certainly not the most fortunate in the world. The former pop princes is having possibly the worse week of her life so far, after being unanimously shredded to pieces by critics for her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. "She's had a bad year with shaving her head and all her bad fashion choices that followed that -- the wigs, the hats", Sanz said. "She really seems to be having a meltdown". No kidding.
