Customers of Three, the mobile network from the United Kingdom, should be on the lookout for emails in which they’re warned that their accounts have been locked because of a “system upgrade.”

Entitled “Account Locked,” the emails read (via Hoax Slayer):

Dear Customer,

Please accept our apology for a recent system up-grade that has affected some of our customers and you are one of many that has been affected by this up-grade. This means that you cannot login into your account except you follow the link below to reactivate your login.

Please do not reply to this message. For questions, please call Customer Service. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The recipients of such emails are advised to ignore them since the links they contain don’t lead to the legitimate site, but to a fake one that’s designed to steal the usernames and passwords of Three customers.
