The scammers try to trick users into liking their page

Facebook users are advised to beware of fake Disney pages that claim to give away free tickets.

Hoax Slayer has come across a bogus page, entitled “Disneyland SuMMer Vacation,” that claims to be giving away 412 tickets.

“We have 412 tickets that have been returned therefore we can NOT resell them, and have no choice but to give them away to YOU our fans!” a scam post reads.

In order to win the tickets, users are instructed to like and share the scammy message.

In reality, this has nothing to do with Disney. The cybercrooks are trying to get users to like their Facebook page.

Once the page gets a large number of likes, it can be used to advertise all sorts of shady products and services, and to lure internauts to malicious websites and surveys.

This is not the first time when scammers leverage Disney’s reputation for their schemes. Back in February, experts spotted a similar campaign.
