Betty White has plenty of experience and a very strong career, which makes her a good role model for any aspiring actor or actress. What Betty doesn’t have is understanding for the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen, as she reveals in a recent interview.

As more and more celebrities grab headlines because of issues in their personal life and not their actual merits in their respective fields, attention shifts from their work and they become tabloid stars.

Charlie Sheen is now on a live national tour because of how he conducted his personal business (which led to his firing from “Two and a Half Men”), while Lindsay Lohan has sold millions of magazines for the same reason

Speaking with the Daily Mail, Betty White stresses these two are not the best examples of what the industry has to offer, and hints that they might want to reconsider their actions before it’s not too late.

“They party too much, don’t learn their lines, are unprofessional and they grumble about everything. I think they are terribly ungrateful,” Betty says, speaking in general terms.

She then moves on to name-dropping.

“I cannot stand the people who get wonderful starts in show business, and who abuse it. Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen, for example, although there are plenty of others, too,” the legendary actress shares.

Instead of tossing it all away, these two (and those who go by unnamed) should use whatever opportunity that comes their way, make the most of it and be grateful for it.

“They are the most blessed people in the world and they don’t appreciate it,” Betty says.

While Sheen is probably too busy with his tour to respond to Betty White, Lindsay Lohan didn’t waste the chance to fight back – and mildly admonish her for acting more immature than her age.

“I’ve always been a fan of hers. It’s just a bit strange when people feel they must speak publicly about others. Especially a grown woman,” Lohan tells E! Online in a statement.
