Bethesda's next big games, like Wolfenstein: The New Order or The Evil Within will run smoother and look better on next-gen consoles like the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, according to the publisher's VP of Marketing, Pete Hines.

Bethesda is getting ready to publish quite a few new titles in the following years, many coming from outside studios, like The Evil Within from Tango Gameworks or Wolfenstein: The New Order from MachineGames.

These new titles will be cross-generation, meaning they'll appear for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 but also for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, not to mention the PC.

According to Bethesda's Pete Hines, via MCV, while the games will run well on current consoles, they'll run smoother and look better on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

While he didn't mention performance figures, like a 60fps framerate, it's safe to say that the definitive editions of the two games will be the next-gen ones.
