14 DAY TRIAL // Fallout series fans are probably anxious to get their hands on the next title in the series, as Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 4 will arrive on next-gen consoles and PC on November 10.
However, until then, they will get to play a nice little mobile game called Fallout Shelter, which is now available on iOS devices.
Fallout Shelter is a strategy game in which players will have to build and manage their vaults, keep their residents happy, and help grow the underground community.
In order to do that, developers have included a variety of modern-day rooms that can be placed beneath 2,000 feet of bedrock, thus turning the underground “into the very picture of Vault of Life.”
Your Dwellers need to be happy, so you must find them suitable jobs and watch them flourish as time goes by. Simply provide them with various outfits, weapons, and training to improve their abilities.
If you want to have a prosper Vault of Life, then your Dwellers need to be of a varied range and with a mix of skills. Keep in mind that you will be able to recruit more Dwellers by building a Radio Room.
Send your Dwellers above surface to explore, but train them well
There's also an exploration aspect included in the game, where players can send Dwellers above ground to explore the post-apocalyptic surface left behind and seek adventure, handy survival loot, or … death.
If they are well-trained, your Dwellers will be able to find new armor and weapons, gain even more experience, and earn Caps.
Obviously, your Dwellers need to be ready for anything, as dangers of post-nuclear life may disrupt the life in the Vault.
You can now download Fallout Shelter for iOS for free via App Store. The game should be fully compatible with devices running iOS 7 and higher, including iPhone 5 or later, iPad Mini 2 or later, iPad 3 or later.
Keep in mind that while the game is available for free, it does offer in-app purchases, so if you don't plan on spending real money, you may disable this feature directly from your device.
