14 DAY TRIAL // The feature list announced in this release for the upcoming stable version of Flash Player 11.3 is quite impressive. It includes full screen keyboard input for Flash Player, low latency audio support for streaming audio, as well as protected mode for Firefox (on Windows).
The current beta boasts important traits, too, making automatic background updates available for Mac, improving the Mac App Store support and introducing texture streaming, a new feature for Stage3D that permits loading lower quality textures first and progressively improve them as more data becomes available.
Relaxing the driver gating for hardware acceleration to 2006 is also on the list, but this is available only in beta stage and it will be disabled in the final revision.
As for AIR, the stable version will introduce stylus support for Android 4.0 devices, USB Debugging for AIR iOS and enhanced background behavior for AIR iOS.
