The first beta version offers lots of new goodies for devs

Research in Motion (RIM) has just released the first beta version 2.0 of the BlackBerry Native SDK for PlayBook tablets.

The new beta release brings lots of new features for developers, including new BlackBerry Platform Services APIs for accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, audio device, geo-location, navigator, orientation, a payment service, sensor, virtual keyboard and more.

In addition, the BlackBerry Native SDK 2.0 comes with Scoreloop SDK 1.0 Beta 1 release, which enables mobile social gaming.

According to RIM, this new technology allows developers to integrate the Scoreloop SDK's set of social gaming features into their games.

Two new IDE user profiles, QNX Developer and C/C++ Developer (CDT), have been included as well, along with IDE improvements that increase performance and reliability.
