Users may have been waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet to come out, and while the waiting game is not yet over, it might be drawing to a close now that BestBuy has listed the product.

There seems to be much talk about a certain tablet that Samsung has been preparing to unleash, one that uses the NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core ARM SoC (system-on-chip).

The product in question is the Galaxy Tab 10.1, a 10.1-inch model that has been detailed before, although never actually made available for purchase.

Of course, since most ARM-Android slates have yet to start selling, with just a few exceptions, this isn't that surprising.

Either way, it looks like the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is, if anything, nearing availability, with BestBuy having listed it on its website.

For those that want a reminder of the specifications, the Tegra 2 SoC is backed up by 16 GB or 32 GB of storage space.

Also, the display panel has a native resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels (WXGA), plus the obligatory touch support.

Two cameras are present, much like on every other slate revealed so far, with a 2 megapixel one on the front and a 3 megapixel one on the back (with LED flash).

That said, while the rumored official launch is on June 8, 2011, the actual listing itself only says that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is coming soon, giving no ETA (estimated time of arrival).

Even the price is still under wraps, although one can assume that, even though it is thinner and lighter than the Apple iPad, the Tab will try to at least stay around the same price point of $500.

Either way, once it begins to ship to customer homes, the product will already feature the Android 3.1 operating system, the latest version of Google's OS.
