Steam for Linux may not have officially launched yet, but we have a pretty good idea of the games that will be available. Valve is running a major Steam Autumn Sale and a log of the games to be available on Linux benefit from generous discounts.

One of the Steam perks is the fact that a game bought on any platform, for example Windows, will also be available for the other one, Mac OS and soon Linux.

There are a little over 50 games that will eventually arrive on Steam for Linux. Here is a short list with the most fun and best games that can be bought at a discount.

Serious Sam 3: BFE is a first-person shooter featuring none other than Sam, the hero from the previous games in the franchise. This is actually a prequel and as it stands, it's the only AAA title announced so far, besides Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead 2.

Right now it can be purchased on Steam with a 75% discount and the offer will expire tomorrow, November 27.

Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 puts the players in the role of a soldier during World War II, in some of the most inhospitable environments of the Eastern Front. It started its life as an Unreal mod, but has grown into a fully-fledged game.

It can be purchased on Steam with a 50% discount and the offer will expire tomorrow, November 27.

In Psychonauts, the player follows the adventures of a young psychic named Razputin. He wants to join the Psychonauts and he gets involved on a mischievous plot that will make him use all his arsenal of psychic powers, such as Telekinesis and Levitation.

It's not a new game, but it features an amazing story and great gameplay. You can check out our review of Psychonauts for more information.

The game can be bought with a 50% discount until tomorrow, November 27.
