The clip went viral with more than 120,000 views in just two days.
The Power Loader Baby Costume was built out of cardboard boxes and put together with hot glue, the father says in the video description.
The dad explains that his hands were mobile enough in the robot costume to keep his baby girl safe, but he did have to take the costume off to change diapers.
The Power Loader appears in the "Aliens" film from 1986, as Sigourney Weaver's armor for her character Ripley. Ripley puts on the indestructible robot armor to fight the Alien Queen and expel it back to space.
