Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood has received at this year's edition of BREW Awards the title of "Best Game Application". This 3D game coming from Gameloft was released more than a year ago and has also received other appreciation awards until now.

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood has been particularly appreciated by the press and has been acclaimed by the critics. At the time it was released, the game also received the "Editor's choice Award", from IGN.

"We are very pleased to be acknowledged by such a prestigious industry forum as we believe Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood' has effectively conveyed the console gaming experience via mobile phones", said Michel Guillemot, president of Gameloft. Moreover, they consider that "Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood is one of the first in a series of games that will change the way mobile games will be experienced, and the 'Best Game Application' award certainly underscores our commitment as innovators in mobile 3D gaming."

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood has started as a video game for Xbox, PC and PlayStation 2 back in 2005. It was only a half of year later when it became available on mobile phones too.

The storyline of this game circles around the events which took place in the D-Day invasion. The gamer plays the role of an American soldier in the Second World War who fights against the German army. This gives him the chance of using rifles, machine guns, rocket launchers and flame throwers, making the game quite spectacular.

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood is not the only award winning game coming from Gameloft, as this company also includes other successful titles, such as Massive Snowboarding, Asphalt: Urban GT2, Midnight Pool, Midnight Bowling, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm and 2006 Real Football.
