Here are some of Microsoft’s best ads released after the launch of Windows 8

Back in October 2012 when Microsoft officially introduced the new Windows 8 modern operating system, the company also started a completely new marketing strategy that was based on more appealing commercials pretty much supposed to show the world that the software giant has changed a lot in the last few years.

Even though Steve Ballmer was still at the helm of the company when this new marketing push started, Microsoft’s commercials seemed to be based on fresh ideas that were easily bringing the key capabilities of the company’s products in the spotlight.

Except for the first Surface commercial, that is, which only showed a bunch of kids dancing and doing almost nothing about the tablet itself, which quickly proved to be a rather poor selling device.

Basically, Microsoft tried to send a very clear message to its users, putting the emphasis on the amount of changes it made not only to its operating system, but also to the other products across its lineup.

Internet Explorer, for example, has been advertised as “the browser you loved to hate” and in one commercial, the company tried to explain that despite the hate that you can find anywhere across the web these days, Microsoft’s very own in-house browser is really worth a shot and is no longer just the browser that you can use to download other browsers.

At the same time, Redmond also tried to showcase some of the innovations brought by its Research unit that, thanks to a number of completely new technologies which, to be honest, you won’t find elsewhere, managed to help a deaf girl gain the power of hearing or even lent a hand to researchers who were trying to develop a method of communication for paralyzed people.

There’s no doubt that Microsoft has evolved a lot lately and letting the hate caused by products such as Windows 8, Surface, the killing of Hotmail, Skype, or any other apps that you might not like, the commercials you can find below are really worth a click.

Of course, you might not like some of the stuff you find here, so make sure that you submit us the one you find more appealing using the comment box after the jump.

With all these being said, just click the play button, increase the volume of your speakers and get to know five of the best commercials released by “the new” Microsoft.
