Samsung and AT&T have already confirmed that the Galaxy Note will be available for purchase on February 19 for $299.99 (230 EUR) with a new two year agreement.

However, starting February 5, customers who want to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note will be able to do so via Best Buy.

The retailer will also throw in a free Protective Flip Cover Case worth of $29.99 (23 EUR), for each customer who pre-orders and activates a Samsung Galaxy Note, while supplies last.

For the time being, Best Buy priced the smartphone for the same amount as AT&T, so those who want to pre-order the Galaxy Note will have to come up with $299.99 (230 EUR) and commit to a new two-year agreement on AT&T.

Although the Galaxy Note was officially introduced in the United States earlier last month during the International Consumer Electronics Show, Samsung plans to make the Galaxy Note launch even bigger.

In this regard, Samsung's first commercial to be aired during the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl was partly filmed with the Galaxy Note's HD-capable camera.

Samsung Galaxy Note ad that will be aired during the Super Bowl will mark the official launch of the smartphone in the United States, as well as the start of the pre-order period.

Aside from AT&T and Best Buy, other major retailers in the country might want to offer the Galaxy Note for pre-order, but one of them in particular, Amazon Wireless will surely lower the smartphone's price a bit to make it more attractive.

Samsung Galaxy Note is one of the largest Android-based smartphones available on the market, which is one of the phone's selling points.

The smartphone boasts an impressive 5.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and 160 million colors.

The phablet is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, but Samsung already confirmed plans to upgrade the Galaxy Note to Ice Cream Sandwich in Q1.
