Although this is not the first time Best Buy accepts online pre-orders for Nokia Lumia 920, it’s likely that this time the retailer won’t pull the phone from its site.

Best Buy opened pre-orders for Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X more than two weeks ago, but the retailer immediately pulled the former without offering any explanations.

It’s possible that Nokia and/or AT&T pressured Best Buy into pulling the Lumia 920 from pre-orders given the fact the smartphone’s pricing and availability had yet to be officially announced.

There’s also the possibility that due to overwhelming number of pre-orders, Best Buy was forced to pull the Nokia Lumia 920 from its online store out of fear of not being able to fulfill all pre-orders.

However, Nokia’s flagship smartphone continued to be available for pre-order at Best Buy retail stores for the same amount.

Today, the retailer re-opened online pre-orders for Nokia Lumia 920, so customers can choose their favorite color option without having to visit one of Best Buy’s brick and mortar stores.

Keep in mind that Best Buy sells the AT&T Nokia Lumia 920. The smartphone is available in Cyan, Black, Yellow, Red and White color options and can be purchased for $100/€75 with a new two-year agreement.

Customers can also grab the Nokia Lumia 920 for $600/€465 outright if they want to avoid being tied by a long-term contract. However, they will still need to activate the phone with AT&T, if they wish to use it in the US.

Nokia Lumia 920 comes with one of the best mobile displays available on the market. The 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ capacitive touchscreen supports HD (768 x 1280 pixels) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating.

The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon processor and comes equipped with 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and an 8.7-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics.
