14 DAY TRIAL // A great new deal has just been put in place for a series of three Android-based smartphones in the United States, courtesy of Best Buy.
The company made the HTC Inspire 4G for AT&T, along with Samsung Epic 4G for Sprint and the Samsung Fascinate for Verizon available for free upon the signing of contract agreements with the respective wireless carriers.
The new promotion was put in place for all users who would like to upgrade to a new device, as well as to new customers to either of the three wireless carriers.
To sweeten the deal even more, Best Buy will throw in a free Lady Gaga Born This Way CD. The free CD is available with other mobile phones as well, Best Buy explains.
According to them, the free CD arrives “when you purchase any mobile phone with a 2-year activation from Best Buy. Plus, buy any of these three free featured smartphones and also get a free digital album download of Born This Way.”
One thing that is certain here is that this would be one of the nicest deals that we see on any of the three smartphones.
The HTC Inspire 4G, launched on shelves this year, comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, beneath which HTC packed a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
The mobile phone runs under Google's Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, and features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with 768MB of RAM, microSD memory card, and the HTC Sense UI. Not to mention that AT&T promised sideloading of applications on it.
The Epic 4G was launched on Sprint's airwaves last year, and is based on Google's Android 2.2 Froyo OS too. It offers support for WiMAX, a 1GHz processor, and a large 4-inch screen, complemented by a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard.
As for the Fascinate, it landed on shelves as Verizon's own flavor of Galaxy S, the popular smartphone that Samsung put on shelves last year.
Boasting a large touchscreen display and a fast 1GHz Hummingbird application processor from Samsung, the device runs under Froyo, and should receive Gingerbread soon.
