Three months after Samsung Galaxy Nexus hit shelves in Canada via TELUS, the smartphone’s price is dropped to $0.

The folks over at MobileSyrup report that major retailer Best Buy has just slashed all prices on Galaxy Nexus. So far, Rogers, Bell and Fido Galaxy Nexus models are available for free with a new three-year agreement.

Virgin Mobile Galaxy Nexus variant can be purchased for only $39.99, while TELUS’ version is the most expensive at $79.99. All prices are for three-year agreements.

Currently, Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the only smartphone to be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

However, this is about to change as HTC, Sony and LG have already announce a new series of ICS-based handset that are expected to become available on the market from April.
