Canadian mobile phone users have now the possibility to pre-order BlackBerry 10 devices in their country, although the OS and the smartphones running under it haven’t been yet officially launched.

Best Buy Canada announced today that it had already kicked off the pre-order period for the new platform, and that users interested in it can head over to its stores to reserve devices (they might have to get $50 out of their pockets for that).

The company is offering BlackBerry 10 handsets with support for all major wireless carriers in the country, including Bell, Telus, Rogers, and Virgin Mobile. These carriers also announced plans to add BB10 devices to their offerings.

Research In Motion has been long touting the official launch of the new platform on January 30, which is less than three weeks away. Stay tuned for more on this.
