A new portable computer has been released for Bentley users. What you're to understand by the phrase "Bentley users" is that this new product comes with quite a price tag attached to it, a thing that can be easily explained by the fact that it's Bentley-branded. Even more, it comes at a time when everybody is talking about the latest Centrino 2 notebooks and rapid emergence of the netbook market.

Over the years, a number of technology devices have been
released and advertised as luxury variants of various computer products. This time around, a company has decided to offer a complete portable computer system, one that will fit best those that can afford the luxury of a Bentley car.

The company that has put its efforts into building the new notebook is Ego for Lifestyle and its new product will go by the name of Ego for Bentley. Each of these laptops is hand-built and sports an authentic Bentley cross-over hand-stitching. To make them better integrate in the Bentley interior design, the color schemes match those of the famous luxury cars. In fact, the metal carry handle has been modeled after the door handle found on the Bentley cars, while the outer leather is identical to the one used for the car seats.

As far as technical specifications go, the Ego for Bentley laptop will provide its users with a Windows Vista operating system. It runs on a 64-bit processor and provides no less than 160GB of storage space. It also includes 12 keys that will allow users to access various functions of the laptop. Unfortunately, no other technical specifications are available at the moment, but more should be revealed during the British Motor Show, where the notebook will be launched.

Obviously, you should expect that a Bentley-branded notebook be almost as expensive as a Bentley car, at least as far as notebooks go. If you think you are ready, here it is: £10.000 for a notebook that has that Bentley "feel". For this amount, you could get a more than decent car and a high-end notebook, but they won't have that Bentley "exclusivity."
