Benedict Cumberbatch stopped by Jimmy Fallon the other day to promote his villain role in “Star Trek Into Darkness” (and the upcoming season of “Sherlock” as well a bit) and, among other things, he played a game of impersonations with Jimmy Fallon.

Well, it wasn’t as much as game as his and “Sherlock” co-star Martin Freeman’s way of passing the time when they have nothing better to do, so Cumberbatch introduced Fallon to it. He didn’t do so well, just in case you were wondering.

In the same interview, Cumberbatch talked about his ever-expanding, mostly female fanbase and how he doesn’t really like the name they’re going by.

However, he admitted that they’re very creative and highly witty people, as social media and the blogosphere can surely attest.
