Following in the footsteps of Dell, BenQ has also announced the expansion of its line of displays with the formal introduction of its new LCD monitor E series. The unveiling of the new series coincides with the launch of two new BenQ LCD monitors, the E2220HD and the E2420HD, both of which have been designed to provide users with support for a
true HD viewing experience. In addition, the new displays from BenQ also boast a series of new features and connectivity options.

The company's latest monitors have been designed to provide users with an alternative to a high-quality display that brings a considerable number of connectivity options, including USB, DVI, HDMI and more. The launch of the new series comes after the manufacturer recently refreshed its G-Series monitors and aims to provide users with the company's next-generation SensEye 3 auto-calibration technology, which is basically meant to optimize the contrast, clarity, color and motion at the touch of one button.

The two monitors are scheduled to become available worldwide later this month, providing customers with a choice for a 21.5-inch (E2220HD) and a 24-inch (E2420HD) display, featuring support for 1920 x 1080 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. Additional features include 300 nits of brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and no less than 11 connectivity options, including four USB ports, two HDMI, one DVI, one VGA connectors and three audio connectors. To sweeten the offer, the Taiwan-based company also integrated two 1.5W stereo speakers.

Featuring a sleek design with a side-mounted power button that makes you think of a certain Sony Vaio portable computer system, the two new E-series displays from BenQ should be heading your way very soon. Unfortunately, for the time being we have no details regarding the price tag of the two.
