BenQ-Siemens A58 is an elegant A Class model with business capabilities. The mobile can be networked without cables to other appliances via the integrated Bluetooth interface.

The handset also has a radio frequency connector (RF connector) and a serial interface for wired data links on board, enabling data stored in the phone and settings to be synchronized quickly and simply with a PC. Moreover, the BenQ-Siemens A58 boasts a connection for an external antenna to ensure optimum reception in a car.

The integrated organizer and clear unified contact book for up to 500 contacts make this mobile phone an efficient tool for coordinating both private and professional appointments. The BenQ-Siemens A58 also comes as a dictating machine (recording time of up to 60 minutes). During a meeting, you will be notified discreetly of incoming calls by the vibration alarm and calls can be made in hands-free mode.

The clear design of this slender mobile phone focuses on ergonomic shape and intuitive operation. Chromium elements on the sides of the casing provide visual design touches. The clearly structured keypad and the graphics menu on the mobile's large "Color super-twist nematic" (CSTN) LCD display with 65,536 colors, 128x128 pixels enable everyone to become familiar with the operation of the device in no time. The mobile phone can also be personalized with individual MP3 ringtones.

BenQ-Siemens A58 will be available in Europe in the colors "Carbon Black" and "Mercury Silver" from August 2006. Prices will be determined locally.
