BenQ-Siemens A38 is perfectly suited for all those who want to use their mobiles for making calls without sacrificing reliability and modern design.

The classic, slender bar form (103.5 x 45.5 x 18.75 mm) fits snugly into the hand. The function keys in contrasting colors located above the keypad are particularly eye-catching. The A38 features a 1.4 inch color display with "Color super-twist nematic" (CSTN) LCD display technology supporting 60,500 colors and 96x64 pixel resolution.

Thanks to the large address book in BenQ-Siemens A38 (up to 300 entries) no phone number needs to be memorized. Moreover, the mobile phone can archive up to 300 text messages, and the Privacy Manager for incoming calls protects the user from undesired calls. This is achieved by simply activating the list of pre-installed phone numbers from which you don't wish to receive calls.

Apart from 32-chord ringtones, the standard features of this solid phone also include an alarm clock, a world clock, a calendar and a calculator, as well as various mobile games. The long standby time of up to 286 hours and talk time of up to 248 minutes make the BenQ-Siemens A 38 a reliable companion in daily life.

The Headsets HES-104 and HES-108, available as original accessories, provide hands-free talking in digital voice quality.

BenQ-Siemens A38 will be available in the color variations "Bold Charcoal" and "X-treme Gray" from July 2006 in Europe. Market entry in Asia will ensue in August 2006. In Latin America, the mobile phone will be on retail sale from September 2006. Prices will be determined locally.
