Those that have been keeping track with the PC market know that BenQ has recently been updating its line of displays, with the introduction of new models, being labeled “green.” On that note, the company has recently announced two new displays, part of its G Series, namely the G920WL and the G922HDL. The two new models have been featured with an LED display technology and are available in 19-inch and 18-inch form factors, boasting a 16:10 and 16:9 aspect ratio, respectively. With the addition of the new models, BenQ can provide its customers with a complete line of green display resolutions, spanning from 18.5-inch to 24-inch widescreen monitors.

“LED is the next big thing in display technology, enabling never-before-possible levels in DCR for amazing visuals,” Peter Chen, general manager of BenQ Technology Product Center, said. “Plus, there are the undeniable ecological benefits that are even more relevant. Overall, the G Series makes leading-edge LED advancement mainstream affordable so that everyone can experience and contribute to a future that’s Lookin’ Great both in digital lifestyle and in the natural environment.”

Both models have been featured with LED backlighting and are mercury-free, coming to provide users with an energy-efficient alternative to similar products on the market. In addition, the two also come featured with the company's Senseye 3 Human Vision Technology, designed to provide one-touch optimization of the screen, including image richness, clarity and depth, offering users a high-quality visual experience.

They also come with a standard contrast ratio of 1000:1, a 5ms response time and a brightness of 250 cd/m2. Boasting TCO 5.0 certification, a 1366 x 768 (G922HDL) and 1440 x 800 (G920WL) native resolutions, the two will provide their users with DVI and D-Sub connectivity. Unfortunately, there are no details on pricing at this time.
