BenQ has just released a new LCD model, an addition to the manufacturer's monitors series - the BenQ FP241W.It is said, by the producer, that this is the world's first LCD monitor with an HDMI interface and full 1080p HD support.

BenQ FP241W's complete HD support feature offers almost lifelike images (as the format's title suggests - hi-definition) through new generations of consumer electronics such as game consoles and HD DVD players. On the other hand, the HDMI interface was especially developed to ensure an enhanced video performance without any kind of signal conversion, also delivering a 5Gbps data transfer.

BenQ guarantees for its WUXGA display which features a 1920 x 1200 high resolution, being based on two next generation technologies - Advanced Motion Accelerator (AMA) and BenQ's proprietary Senseye Technology -delivering in this way an enhanced contrast ratio, legible text and no image distortion or cropping.

BenQ FP241W's flexible screen adjustment enables users to easily adjust the screen viewing angle for a more comfortable experience, including -5?-25? title angle, 45/45 left/right swivel angle, pivot and height adjustment. BenQ FP241W also comes outfitted with integrated USB ports for easy connections between various USB peripherals.

Furthermore, BenQ FP241W's 24-inch widescreen design is meant also for business purposes, as the user is enabled to view two independent A4-size windows simultaneously, but also another business oriented feature - the PIP (picture-in-picture) - which enables users to play back video from two different sources such as from a DVD player and a PC, making it ideal for professional applications such as finance, health care, research and communication centers.
