We all know about the BenQ Siemens EF71 mobile music phone that has been launched during this year's third quarter. We also know that it came on the mobile market dressed in a silver suit, but this thing has changed now because its manufacturer has decided to recolor it and give it a new spicy look just before Christmas.

The handset will be launched in China some time in the next year's first half and will offer the Chinese BenQ customers the possibility to choose between three new colors: gold, pink and purple.

The rest of the phone's features will remain unchanged as we know so far and this means you will still get all the good things the silver edition of this music phone came with.

If you decide to wait until its official launch, you happen to live somewhere in China and want to get it home you will be provided with a pair of 3D surround speakers integrated in the metallic cased of the cellphone and external music dedicated keys to make your audio experience reach new quality standards.

Its future users will also get their hands on a 2.2 inch 262k colors internal display, and external 128x64 OLED screen, tri-band support, a microSD memory expansion card slot offering the choice to expand the internal storage so you can store all your favorite tunes for later auditioning, a 2 megapixel digital camera with camcorder function, 9x linear zoom, night mode available for the moments when the light conditions are poor and webcam functionality when the phone is connected to the PC through a USB cable.

There is no info about the exact date this recolored handset will be available or its future price tag, but this might be a good reason to think about saving some money, especially if you are a multimedia maniac like the other ones that have already bought the silver edition of this sleek looking music enabled cellphone.
