Like most, if not all of its rivals on the display market, BenQ saw fit to create a 3D-capable monitor for gaming purposes, so it put together the XL2410T, a display that uses a TN panel and has a screen size of 24 inches.

Seeing as how Samsung, ASUS, LG, Acer and Dell have already released one ore more 3D-capable monitors, it was only a matter of time before BenQ would do the same.

As such, the company is revealed to have completed the XL2410T, a display that boasts a TN panel and the necessary refresh rate of 120 Hz.

This refresh rate lets it output two sets of images simultaneously, 60Hz for each eye, which then end up synchronized by special 3D glasses.

Basically, this newcomer is aimed at gamers, BenQ having even teamed up with ZOWIE (a manufacturer of high-end gaming hardware) and two professional Counter Strike players to test it.

The display has a native resolutions of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, meaning that all sorts of multimedia files are supported.

Unfortunately, the static contrast ratio has not been mentioned yet, but the product does boasts a fairly good brightness of 300 cd/m2, plus a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1.

What's more, it has a G2G (gray to gray) response time of 2 ms, which means it should perform admirably during intense FPS or RTS games.

Other specifications include 16.7 million colors, viewing angles of 170/160 degrees and multiple video inputs, namely DVI, D-SUB (VGA) and HDMI.

According to the report, the newcomer has not yet started selling and won't do so until later this year.

European consumers will be the first to get a hold of this model, since shipments are slated to commence, in that region, next month.

The rest of the world, however, will have to wait a while longer, though an exact time frame is still unavailable. The price is said to be of 349 Euro.
