He’s not the type to walk around with hair nearly covering his eyes but, for a movie role, Ben Affleck is willing to give even that a try. The actor has been spotted with a ‘do commonly known as The Bieber. Since he’s usually very prim looking, whether he’s on the red carpet or on a day off with his family out and about, it’s no wonder that Ben’s flat-ironed ‘do grabbed international headlines in an instant.
However, as
People magazine notes, he certainly gave the look a proper try, even matching it with equally hipster clothes.
His fans shouldn’t worry though: this is just a temporary look that Ben is sporting for a movie he’s now working on.
“He’s a doting dad, a husband and a successful producer, but Ben Affleck is showing he can still be young and hip despite his mature demeanor. The actor traded in his signature dad look for some longer, flat-ironed locks,” the publication writes.
“His rep tells People that the change is for his role in the new movie Argo. But Affleck is figuring out how to work the look in real life, pairing the hipster-esque hair with a striped shirt, cotton trousers and trainers while out in Santa Monica over the weekend,” adds the celebrity mag.
Speaking of temporary hairstyles, Affleck is not the only actor to have recently done something drastic to their hair for a movie role: Disney star Vanessa Hudgens and “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson are also rocking some pretty unusual ‘dos these days.
While Vanessa is saying that she still does a double take in the mirror because she hasn’t gotten accustomed to having
a chopped ‘do, Pattinson doesn’t seem to have a care in the world with his new patchy haircut.
The actor even showed it off proudly at Comic-Con 2011, where he made an appearance on the panel for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2,” as we also
informed you a few days ago.
