Canadian carrier Bell is silently pushing updates for two of its Windows Phone devices, HTC HD7 and LG Optimus Quantum.

Both smartphones have been introduced in Canada for quite some time now and they will probably continue to sell at least by the end of the year.

This is possibly one of the reasons that Bell decided to push updates for both handsets. The Windows Phone 7.5 commercial refresh 3 (7.10.8773.98) software update is now pushed OTA (over the air) to HTC HD7 and LG Optimus Quantum owners.

According to MobileSyrup, this update bring lots of new messaging features that will allow users to attach multiple videos and pictures.

Furthermore, the update also fixes “a potential SMS issue where a specially crafted SMS message sent to Windows Phone 7.5 devices will cause the phone to reboot and prevent the messaging hub from reopening.”
