It looks like LG’s flagship smartphone, Optimus G, is getting a minor update in Canada. Rogers and Bell Mobility are the first carriers that have confirmed that the update is live and ready to be downloaded and installed.

The folks at MobileSyrup have been able to get their hands on a Bell internal document which has confirmed that software update version V10h for LG Optimus G will be pushed OTA (over the air) starting December 18.

According to this document, the update brings several improvements to stability and performance, along with a Google security patch and enhanced touch response while charging.

Last but not least, the update also fixes exchange email setup to avoid customer confusion. We’re now waiting for TELUS to confirm the availability of the update as well, so stay tuned for more info on the subject.
