It's been only six months since Motorola MOTOLUXE landed at Bell and the smartphone will soon reach “end of life status.”

According to MobileSyrup, Bell plans to discontinue the Motorola MOTOLUXE. A leaked Bell document dated November 14 confirms it.

The carrier recommends those who are still thinking of purchasing the MOTOLUXE to grab the Samsung Galaxy X 4G instead.

Although the smartphone will soon be gone from Canadian shelves, the problems that affects it will certainly remain if Motorola doesn't roll out a new software update.

Unfortunately, the last update pushed OTA (over the air) about ten days ago broke Wi-Fi connectivity.

Some users report a reset of the phone fixes this problem, though we're not sure if it works for all Motorola MOTOLUXE devices sold thorough Bell and Virgin Mobile.
