Belkin Introduces New Wireless Devices

Router and USB adapter for small networks

Belkin has announced today that it has introduced its new N Wireless Router and N Wireless USB Adapter. These two new products, designed to offer consumers wireless support for their everyday requirements, make use of the latest in wireless technology, so they should bring some impressive levels of performance, helping users easily create home networks.

The company's new N Wireless Router features a USB port on the back panel, which should provide support for connecting a storage device. This feature will allow multiple computers to easily access documents, videos, and photos on the storage drive over a secure wireless network. It actually creates the means by which both home and office users can share files more conveniently and without the need of undesired wires.

The router is packed with a number of important features, including four gigabit ports that can offer a better bandwidth and speed for media applications like streaming music and video. Sporting an elegant black finish, the new Belkin router can easily be integrated in any home or office design. It also comes equipped with two antennas that should enhance the coverage and quality of connections.

Making use of the wireless N Draft 2.0 technology, the router features intuitive icons on the front panel, which turn from blue to amber to alert its users of various problems in their network. The router will be available in October in the US, for 119.99 USD, while Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia will get it soon after.

The smaller N Wireless USB adapter will have a selling price tag of 99.99 USD and will sport WPS security support with the push of a button. This device also comes with a black finish and should provide optimal range and distance for your wireless network.
