Belkin has announced new accessories for Apple's just-introduced iPod nano fourth generation and second generation iPod touch. Starting with sport armbands and ending with screen overlays, the whole list of accessories counts over a dozen new items, all for the new iPods.

The first accessory Belkin advertises on its website is the Sport Armband Plus with FastFit for iPod nano 4G, iPod touch 2G, and iPod classic 2G. The company says that, for US$29.99, customers get a removable sleeve with low-profile belt clip and key pouch made of lightweight water-wicking materials, a Cable Capsule for added headphone-cord management, and a clear screen protector that allows for easy navigation. The Sport Armband Plus is compatible with Nike+ gear, is hand-washable and sports a “FastFit system” for easy one-handed fastening.

But that's for the sporty type. Maybe you're more of a serious iPod fan (although Apple believes this species is "extinct").

So, if you're looking for something more elegant, but still on the stylish side, the Sonic Wave Two-Tone Silicone Sleeve might be just the thing for you. Available for iPod nano 4G (US$19.99), iPod touch 2G (US$24.99), and iPod classic 2G (US$29.99), the Sonic Wave Two-Tone Silicone Sleeve sports a laser-etched design and has a “form-fitting construction” that allows the iPod owner to charge the device without having to remove the sleeve. Available in two-tone colors including black/infrared, cool gray/grapefruit, pink/translucent white, black/blue, black/green, black/white, blue/orange, the accessory will be made available in mid-September in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. The same goes for all of the new accessories announced by Belkin.

“New Belkin cases offer greater protection and style for your iPod nano 4G or iPod touch 2G,” the company states on its official website. “Cases fit a variety of lifestyles whether you are a busy college student or a stylish corporate professional,” it is further said.
