Belkin Corporation is a global manufacturer of computer hardware and accessories headquartered in Compton, California. Specialized in connectivity devices, Belkin sells primarily in the consumer and home user market, but they also make hubs, switches, cables, UPSs and other peripherals. The fact that since 1983, when it was founded, the company made it twice into the list of 500 fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States is enough to make us understand that Belkin is a name to remember, and their products are something to pay attention to.

Obviously, the place where almost any computer hardware and accessories manufacturer can be found these days is the Macworld Expo in San Francisco, and Belkin took advantage of this occasion to introduce three new products to the public. These products are the TuneStudio, the Bluetooth Dock Adapter and the Battery Backup with Flashlight.

The TuneStudio for 5G iPod is the first four-channel audio mixer that enables its users to create high quality audio recordings directly on their iPods, according to the company. Bands can attach input cables to the device and use the iPod to record jam-sessions or even raw quality demos, and the TuneStudio can be purchased for 179.99$, but you'll have to wait until this summer for its release in the US.

The Belkin Battery Backup with Flashlight, priced at 99$, is an equipment designed to protect equipment and data that features a detachable flashlight which automatically turns on when the power goes off, and the US launch will happen in mid-February.

At last, the 129$ Belkin Bluetooth Dock Adapter for iPod will be useful to turn your iPod into a wireless remote for the purpose of playing your songs wirelessly through your iPod stereo dock. To get your hands on this last product previewed by Belkin at Macworld, you'll have to wait until March.
