The Radeon HD 7870 is one of the most popular graphics cards from Advanced Micro Devices, which must be why TUL Corporation, like so many others, has launched another version of it.

Under the PowerColor brand, the Devil HD7870 has appeared, powered by the Platinum Power Kit, which includes 7+1+1 phases, Digital PWM, and Super Capacitors.

The adapter is cooled by a large heatsink and three fans, as well as 4 heatpipes and large surface aluminum cooling fins.

The cooler is 25% more effective and 18% quieter than the reference card.

That's good, because otherwise the clock frequencies of 1,100 MHz and 1,250 MHz Boost would be too much to handle.

PowerColor Devil HD7870 ships with an OC software tool and a driver with a unique interface for Powerup Tuner. For that matter, the Devil Gaming Pad provides a balance between tracking control and speed.
