It was just a matter of time before this happened, so we're not surprised by the product that XOTC PC just unveiled, a desktop computer powered by Intel's new Core i7-5930K central processing unit.

The Core i7-5930K processor, with its eight cores and 3.5-3.7GHz clocks, plus 15MB Cache, is backed by 8 GB of DDR3 Corsair Vengeance memory (2,666 MHz).

The computer also boasts a pair of NVIDIA EVGA CLASSIFIED GeForce GTX 780 Ti graphics cards, with 3 GB GDDR5 VRAM each. The cards are arranged in SLI.

Once NVIDIA gets around to launching Maxwell-based video boards, we may see this system updated to GeForce GTX 970/980, but for now no dice.

All the hardware in the new computer, whose name is unclear (XOTIC PC only said it would be revealed at the PAX Prime convention opening today, August 29, 2014), is held together by a Gigabyte X99-GAMING G1 WIFI motherboard and housed in a Custom Painted "1979 Corvette Torch Red" Corsair 600T case. As for storage, a 240 GB Intel 730 SSD has that covered.

The starting price of the new XOTIC PC gaming system is somewhere around $3,000 / €2,275 - €3000. Obviously, there are many options that can be customized, but you'll have to pay extra for each bonus part you select, especially if you want more SSD storage.
