Will bring a tear to the eye of some and a shiver to the spine of others

Remember quadrotors? Like the one that supposedly made its own Christmas tree back in December? It so happens that, as endearing as it sounds, critters of that sort know how to fly in a flock now.

There really isn't much else we can say about this, except comment on the level of sophistication that the robots exhibit, both when flying alone and when in a group.

Flipping through the air and synchronizing are things that one wouldn't expect to see in something whose control core can't be much bigger than a dime.

We can almost see these things being used for festive arrangements and whatever else needs things to be moved to high places.

Of course, the things have that adorable vibe too. Hopefully they won't suddenly turn into a swarm of hungry locusts for some reason.
