This is the gist of NVIDIA's new look, for consumer cards anyway

You know how we spotted a supposed photo of NVIDIA's First Kepler card not long ago? The one with an apparently unusual logo?

It turns out that the Santa Clara, California-based company really is determined to start a new page in its history.

That is to say, its GeForce graphics logo has gone through a transformation.

Notice how the NVIDIA 'eye” is looking at you from the bottom right, and how all the letters are capitalized now: GEFORCE instead of GeForce.

Looks like NVIDIA missed the memo about ALLCAPS being a bit of a strain on the eye, though we suppose GEFORCE isn't too long a word for it to be outright painful.

We'll probably stick to the GeForce spelling, unless we are told otherwise, since a modified logo doesn't necessarily mean that the brand itself is going to be spelled differently now too.
