Microsoft officially presented the new Surface Pro 3 tablet on May 20 and sales started on June 19 across the United States and Canada, so the company can now go on with its marketing strategy that's supposed to make everyone aware that a new device is up for grabs.

Redmond rolled out not only a commercial to highlight the key capabilities of the Surface Pro 3, but also a behind-the-scenes video revealing that the company actually managed to create the ad in just a single shot.

"Wondering how we got the Surface Pro 3 from the bedroom to the board room in a single shot, without edits? Watch this short video -- narrated by the ad's Director -- to see how we made the world around it evolve as seamlessly as Surface goes from tablet to laptop and back to fit your needs," it said.

The Surface Pro 3 comes with a 12-inch screen and up to 512 GB of storage space, while also offering three different CPU models, starting with an Intel Core i3 and ending with an i7. Pricing goes all of the way up to $1,949 (€1,450) for the top-of-the-range configuration in the United States.
