Instead of just throwing out beer cans, bottles and other no-longer needed materials, designer Vanessa Harden proves that there are other creative ways of recycling and reusing no-longer-needed products.

Harden has managed to revolutionize Bonnaroo, one of the most popular music festivals held every year in the US, Greendiary reports.

Their Scavenger projects relies on many tents made entirely of no less than 2,576 beer cans and 8 bed sheets, gathered during the first and second day of the “pre-festival,” speculating the fact that such an event would always generate enormous piles of trash.

Once they finished collecting the cans, they started thinking about creative ways of displaying them. So the group decided to stack them and use duct tape for extra resistance.

Afterwards, they even managed to plant artificial palm trees, to make the entire structure more attractive.

Eco-friendly designers wanted to make sure that their initiative will be noticed by every single music fan present at the event, so they created a "beered-in" entrance, marked by a fence made entirely of beer cans.

To guarantee that their earth-friendly strategy will have a zero effect on the environment, the group dismantled the tents after the festival and cleaned up all the mess. All in all, they say their initiative was well-received by the public and managed to give an extra boost to the 10th edition of the popular festival.

It seems that designers achieved their main goal: to gather the 80,000 music enthusiasts and explore their passion while working on their eco-conscios attitude.

Developers wanted to raise the participants’ level of awareness regarding green issues and strategies not through boring lectures, but through a creative eco-friendly structure, that will definitely capture their attention.

Since their project was highly appreciated by the public, designers involved in this plan to expand their initiative and turn recycling into a much more entertaining process.
