BeejiveIM for iPhone 3.0 Comes with Push Notification

Beejive, Inc. announced today the release of the BeejiveIM for iPhone 3.0, an application meant to offer users the possibility to enjoy the availability of push technology for the iPhone. The new and highly customizable iPhone app also offers support for IM clients like AIM/iChat/MobileMe, MSN/Windows Live, Yahoo!, MySpace, GoogleTalk, ICQ, Facebook chat & Jabber.

All these IM clients can be easily accessed through the application's user-friendly interface. Moreover, the BeejiveIM provides a user experience similar to the one present on desktop instant messaging solutions, as it brings all the features directly to the iPhone, and enables a more cost-efficient communication solution than texting, for example.

BeejiveIM for iPhone 3.0 comes with a series of new features, including the aforementioned Push notifications, which allow users to be alerted as soon as a new IM arrives, or a series of fresh options that benefit from the Apple 3.0 OS, such as better scrolling and app email forwarding. Moreover, the application comes with an updated user interface that allows for a high degree of customizability, from chat wallpapers to different app theme colors, and with meta contact support, offering users the possibility to group all buddies for the same person under one contact and link them to their iPhone's address book.

BeejiveIM for iPhone 3.0 is available for download on the iTunes App Store for $9.99 (a drop from the $15.99 that the application previously featured). Existing users will be able to update to the new version freely.
