You've been the bad guy that killed for no apparent reason, the super hero that saved the world and, probably, everything you can imagine. But you've never been a bored crash test dummy that is about to become a prince that's going to save the princess. So, if you think that would be a fun mission, you should really check out Twelve Interactive's multi-platform game, Cid The Dummy.

First, you will notice that Cid (from Crash Impact Dummy) is a nobody, a guy stuck in a job that he hates and, even more, he has an horrible name. Still, his creator, professor B.M. Werken, gives him a great mission - to save his daughter MIA, the most beautiful crash test dummy there is. Unfortunately, the girl was kidnapped by the evil D-Troit, and Cid has absolutely no chance against him. Or had, since you are going to control the character and ensure that the "princess" will be saved. And, to help you in your quest, the professor will give you a great gift: the ESS, a device that offers CID the greatest endowment there is: the ability to have basic emotions. So... will it be a quest for love, too?

Story apart, the game promises to be a great action platformer for everybody and it will come packed with a lot of intense action, great combat moves and fighting skills plus some really hilarious enemy names - the Dumper or the Failed Experiment. Apart from the fighting scenes, the player will have to solve puzzles, avoid traps and dummy acrobatic skills to get out of trouble.

And having in mind that, actually, the developers promise that the game environment interaction will be the most important part of the gameplay, you will have to climb walls, swing on ropes, burn obstacles, destroy exploding barrels, use lifters, bounce on springs and with a neat head butt destroy walls. What could you ask more? Multi-platform, did you say? Well, you'll have that, too, since the game is scheduled for a Q2 2008 release for Wii, PSP, PS2 and DS consoles, as well as for PC systems.
