Giada, a free, minimal, hardcore audio tool for DJs and live performers that can load or record up to 32 samples, is now at version 0.8.

Giada 0.8 has been dubbed “benzoyl peroxide” and comes with one new feature, and a few smaller bug fixes and other changes.

“Giada is out today, introducing a long-awaited (by us, at least) feature: initial MIDI input support! The release also fixes many annoying bugs and introduces some minor improvements,” reads the official announcement.

This is the first release in a new branch, and we expect the developers to implement a lot more features in the near future, which means that more updates are on their way.

A complete list of updates and new features can be found in the official changelog. Download Giada 0.8 (benzoyl peroxide) right now from Softpedia.
