David Beckham's Armani underwear adds have already made celebrity history - and with every day that passes, it becomes clear that the soccer stud will probably be haunted by their memory 'till his dying day. It seems that everyone around David - starting with his pouty wife and ending with the football player's mother - have felt the need to comment on his decision to flash his manhood at the world and allow for giant billboards depicting the afore-mentioned bulge to proudly delight or horrify men and women across the world. And if former Spice Girl Victoria was pleased and proud with her man's size, the footballer's mother wasn't impressed with his daring modeling endeavor.
Beckham was on Jay Leno's Tonight Show on NBC last night, where he revealed that his mother was among the first to react when the add in question was published. "When the photos came out, she was the first one to call me and say, 'What are you doing?' I had to try and explain it to her and it didn't go down that well," the football player explained. It never occurred to anyone that Beckham's crotch might actually have been one of the causes for the reportedly strained relationship between David's wife and his mother - however, in the light of these revelations, there might actually be a story there.
In case you forgot, let us remind you that soon after the Armani adds in question were released, Victoria went on record saying that her husband's manhood was the size of a tractor's exhaust pipe. See, now there's a perfectly good reason for a mother and her daughter-in-law not to get along. It's probably a very uncomfortable experience to see your son spreading his legs on huge billboard across the world, and it's got to be even worse hearing your son's wife talk about his penis on TV. A little "note to self" seems to be in order for the LA Galaxy player - tell your wife never to "flash and tell" again or mommy will spank you. As exciting as that may sound for some, for Beckham's sake, he'd better keep his underwear in his pants and his wife's mouth shut tight from now on.
