We know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, love is blind and age doesn't count. This is confirmed by the reverse variant of the Anne Nicole Smith case (but we cannot estimate the fortune of the bride in this case): a 24-year-old Argentine man who has married in September 2007 a woman who is 58 years
older than him. The wedding took place in Santa Fe, in Northern Argentina.

"I've always liked mature ladies ... I don't care what other people say." said the groom, Reinaldo Waveqche.
The bride, Adelfa Volpes, is 82 and the freshly married couple is going to spend their honeymoon in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and then they will take a journey to Spain.

"There is going to be more." said Mr Waveqche when asked if the relationship with his wife was going to be platonic.
"I am very pleased. Reinaldo is marvelous, very good, kind and educated. The age difference has never been important for us." said Ms Volpes.

Waveqche told the reporters he feels attracted by his new wife's zest for life. They got married after they had been engaged for several years and they made their vows in a civil ceremony because the bride declared she would have felt ridiculous in a church.

The lovers have lived in the same house ever since Mr Waveqche moved in with Ms Volpes after the death of his mother 9 years ago. Ms Volpes, as a friend of his late mother, has known him ever since he was a child.

Ms Volpes is a retiree and does not have any children and confirmed she stirred up the romance when the boy turned 18. Mr Waveqche is unemployed.

"Our relationship is based on respect and love. She offered me a home when I was only a boy", said Mr Waveqche.
