“Beautiful Widgets” Is the First Paid App to Reach 1 Million Downloads in the Android Market

Google has recently announced that Android Market has reached the 10 billion downloads milestone and kicked-off a promotional offer to celebrate this achievement.

Shortly after Google’s announcement, LevelUp Studio, a company specialized in mobile software, told the world that its “Beautiful Widgets” application reached 1 million downloads in the Android Market.

It appears that “Beautiful Widgets” is the first paid application available in the Android Market that reaches the 1 million downloads milestone.

Those unfamiliar with this application should know that “Beautiful Widgets” is a collection of widgets that includes, clock, weather, toggles, as well as a wide range of skins. Users can also customize their own widgets based on various options offered by the developer.

“Beautiful Widgets” for Android is now available in the Android Market for $2.89 and is compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up.
